Tripwire Interactive is such a great gaming company. Ducking behind cover, blind fire, changing overheated barrels, machine gun actually pivots around the bipod, adjustable sights, being able to lift your gun and move over while being deployed. RO2 has the best machine gun mechanics I've ever used in an FPS game, hands-down. I main as the machine gunner/support guy in almost all FPS's I play. Unforgiving, brutal, and you have to pull the trigger if you're completely certain that your gun is pointing at an enemy and not your friend. Even if I die while charging with my team, I feel like my death contributed to the game by allowing someone to continue to live. The better thinker one will be victorious. You pick and choose every spot you hide behind, and leap frog your way up towards the front. Almost 92 hours into it, mostly playing realism mode.ĭefinitely not a run-and-gun game.
